BloodSmoke is an LA-based band consisting of members Brandon DeLyzer and Connor Kuehn. After touring together as guns-for-hire for another artist, it inspired the duo to create their own project with a futuristic mercenary aesthetic. Sniper and spotter, the two work in tandem. DeLyzer has an extensive background as a live sound and studio engineer, while Kuehn is a classically trained drummer out of USC. Both are touring pros and long-time producers for other artists. The music wanders between instrumentals and tracks featuring guest vocals and DeLyzer's low and raspy voice. What really separates the duo from similar electronic artists like Rezz and Deathpact is the spotlight they put on their use of live drums, which are recorded at Robby Krieger's studio (The Doors) in Burbank. No amount of programming can imitate a good drummer. Kuehn's energetic and unique choice of beats and fills makes every bar in a BloodSmoke track exciting. With vast experience performing, the band is looking to build an incredible live show and plan to do a series of virtual reality experiences before touring. The band have just released their debut track "Psychopath" but expect to constantly release singles throughout the year along with their unique series of covers and remixes called "transfusions."
